The Flete's hit DC

Earlier this month Chad and I, along with our Fletemeyer family, flew out to DC...to surprize Ryan (Chad's brother) for his 30th birthday. The surprize party went off without a hitch...thanks to the careful plannin of Erin, his wife!
We arrived on a Saturday and left on a Monday...and packed a lot of fun in. Aside from the party...three of the highlights from the trip were:

1. A private tour of the White House - Of which a few memories include...Chad planting a kiss on me in the press room, me doing a handstand in the White House lawn, and getting to see the Oval Office...and all those other familiar White House camera shots we see on TV...
2. Time with Taite - our precious little niece...who is so addicting to be around...we just can't seem to get enough...
3. Visiting the National Cemetary (is that OK to say it was a highlight?) It was so powerful to see visually all the people who have fought for our country, especially during this season of war our country is in. Such a powerful and honoring time.
Thanks for looking!
